About Jo

Clients say that I am kind, calm, caring, supportive, very knowledgeable, a good listener and truly holistic. My life has not been without anxiety and major challenges, but I became a multi-modality therapist with a passion for learning how to help people slowly and it started at an early age.

When I was 9 a new member of the family came to live with us – my mum was diagnosed with bladder cancer. For the next 10 years it was the silent unspoken about, yet dominant element that shaped all aspects of our lives, in different ways.

Every 3 months it received attention and all the treatment available, but still it remained. So, at the end of the 10 years it was removed along with my mum’s bladder and any other organs she could “do without”.

This was the beginning of my fascination with the natural workings of the body, mind and wellness. During those years I watched the toll a serious illness (and the treatment) had on not only the patient but those around them.

My passion to narrow down what keeps us healthy, well and enjoying life for the longest time, grew and it’s a journey I am on to this day. So far, I have narrowed it down to 3 things: an efficient digestion, a mainly positive mental attitude with a manageable amount of stress, a balance messaging system (hormones and nerves) or a cycle of all three. I help and empower women (and men) to understand and take control of all 3.

I am a fully qualified, fully insured therapist and member of FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists), KA (Kinesiology Association) and registered with CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

My Serenity room in Arborfield, Berkshire, England is a real sanctuary away from everyday stresses and strains and this is reproduced online too.
